Une réponse visuelle à la peur et à la violence
“Women are not afraid” is a photographic series born in Paris in September 2019.
It is made up of several hundred individual portraits and around sixty group photos.
Through this achievement, I express, with and through the women present in the photos, the reappropriation of public spaces by women.

I started the first portraits with friends, then I started receiving messages via social networks from women who wanted to include their portraits in the photographic series.
Women are not afraid sessions were organised in Paris, Ivry-sur-Seine, Vitry-sur-Seine, Brussels, Lyon, Toulouse, Annecy, Nantes, Cardiff and Glasgow.
Je réalise la série photo Women are not afraid afin de donner de la visibilité aux femmes qui reprennent légitimement les espaces publics.
Je présente les visages et les regards forts et déterminés, de ces femmes, qui bravent le danger pour vivre leur liberté de circuler.
